Callaway C16 Super Car
Callaway Cars latest creation is the Callaway C16 Super car based
on the corvette chassis. There are three models to choose from, the normal
C16 Coupe, a C16 Convertible, and a very sleek looking C16 Speedster.
Along with three model variations to choose from there are also two engine
packages as well. The base 560 hp, 529 ft-lbs of torque supercharged V8 or
the performance package with 616 hp, and 582 ft-lbs of torque along with
many other options that will help the car perform to its fullest.
The optional performance packages contains many goodies that will
help the Callaway C16 lead in the pack in the performance car market.
These options include CNC machined heads, larger intake and exhaust
valves, coil over suspension, roll bars, larger wheels, tires and brakes,
plus the ever important horsepower gains over the base package.
The specs on the performance package Callaway C16 are very
impressive. The 0-60 mph time is 3.3 sec. with a 1/4 mile time of 10.97
sec @ 129 mph. The top speed on the C16 is 206 mph. This car is not only
fast but handles very well, it pulled 1.05 lateral g's in the skid pad. |
